I love New York.

...Yep, surprisingly that's a song lyric/title too :)

"Best of" Photos from NYC Music Trip 2008:

Inside the St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Photobucket
Cool building near the Met If I remember right.

Photobucket
The Met.

Photobucket
Favourite picture of a piece of art that I took inside the Met.

Photobucket
Thought it was cool the way the name/date/info/whatever was engraved in the sculpture.

Photobucket
Jeff Koons art on the roof of the Met!

Supposedly he made a sketch of Piglet from Winnie the Pooh and then painted over it with watercolours, erased the lines, blew it up on some plastic, and voila.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Rockerfeller Center. The place with the giant Christmas tree if you're not familiar.

Photobucket

How sick does that contrast of architecture look?!

Photobucket

Photobucket
W 57th and 5th avenue. I remembered Gossip Girl was filmed here and went all fangirl-y.

Photobucket
The Apple Store in NYC. You can see the logo inside the plastic cube thing, its a side view of it.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Central Park!

Photobucket

Photobucket
So many movies were filmed here....its kinda cool.

Photobucket
The Strawberry Fields Memorial.

Looks even better at night.

Photobucket
Outside Planet Hollywood. I went home and told all my geek friends about the cool sculpture-bulb-thingy I saw actually used in Star Wars. They were impressed although I had no idea what the heck it was.

Photobucket
Cool effect of cars whizzing by, using no flash.

Photobucket

From the top of the Empire State. This picture doesn't do it justice.
